Fundraising pages are the easiest way to get donations from friends, family or colleagues. All you need to do is share the link to the page and your supporters will be able to donate via easy to follow steps. This guide will walk you through how to set up a fundraising page on Just Giving or Virgin Money Giving. The first thing you will need to do is create an account on the platform you would like to use and then follow the following steps for your chosen site. Please note, if you are fundraising for a specific fundraising campaign run by PCR, such as London Marathon or Snowdonia for Science, you will be given a direct link to set up you page which will bypass some of the following steps. Please check with your PCR contact to see if there is a link available before proceeding with these steps.
A list of suggested events will appear, please locate the relevant event and click on it. If you cannot find the correct event, or event is not the reason for the page, please click on ‘Doing something else?’ and then enter the date of your challenge. If this page is just to receive donations in memory of someone, please select any date in three months.
Once you have your page, check out our guide on how to get the most out your page. If at any point you have issues setting up your page you can email your PCR contact or email us for assistance.
