Set your own fundraising target and raise as much as possible to support our research. It’s as easy as creating a JustGiving page.

Get a #TeamPCR t-shirt when you sign up for free and receive a medal once you've completed your challenge!

There is no entry fee to take part in this challenge, and all participants will receive a free t-shirt and medal (as well as their new #PCRLegend status!).

Covid-19 Statement

We really hope that this activity gives you something fun and positive to focus on during these challenging times. We would love to see as many people as possible involved in this challenge, but ask that at this time you complete your activity by yourself, with people from your household or virtually with friends and family. The safest way for you to take part in the PCR Challenge right now is from home.

Is it free to take part?

Yes, the PCR Challenge is entirely free to join!

If you’d like to make a contribution towards the cost of your medal and t-shirt, we would love for you to donate £10 to your own JustGiving page. This will also activate your page and help you kick-start your fundraising!

What activity do I need to do to take part?

You choose the activity in the PCR Challenge! From getting sporty to getting creative, we want you to achieve your personal goals with us.

When and where does this challenge take place?

You can complete your PCR Challenge at any time and in any place.

How do I sign up?

Once you’ve signed up, Ted, our Events & Community Assistant, will be in touch as soon as possible to officially welcome you to #TeamPCR and find out how we can best support you with your challenge.

You’ll receive a PCR t-shirt so you can represent Prostate Cancer Research as you take part, and a digital fundraising pack to help you kick-start your fundraising!

What fundraising support will I receive?

You’ll receive full fundraising support during your challenge to help you smash whatever fundraising target you set yourself. This includes:

Fundraising tips and support from our team
Fundraising resources, such as our how to guides which contain top hints and instructions for each stage of your fundraising journey
Access to digital resources to help you spread the word
Special motivational support, including social media shout outs
Free fundraising merchandise
Access to our online training hub for anyone taking on an active challenge

How will my fundraising support PCR?

All the money you raise will go towards funding our life-changing research into new treatments and a better understanding of prostate cancer. Our vision is a world free from the impact of prostate cancer, and we know the only way to achieve this is through research.

By fundraising for us, you are a key part of a charity that supports researchers at every stage of their career, actively encourages innovation and collaboration, listens to patient experiences and puts their needs at the heart of our research decisions, and is working tirelessly to empower all patients by providing verified and accurate information about their treatments.

What do I get for completing my challenge?

When you’ve completed your challenge, send us some ‘proof’ and you’ll receive your special #TeamPCR medal and thank you letter! You’ll also have earnt your status as a #PCRLegend and will feel an amazing sense of pride knowing you’ve helped us fund life-changing prostate cancer research!

How do I prove that I've completed my challenge?

Proof of completion could be anything from photos of the final day of your challenge, a screenshot from a tracking app like Strava, or simply a short write up of your experience!
