Prostate Progress is proud to be the first ‘driver project’ for NHS England’s Data for Research and Development programme. Prostate Progress is powered by NHS Data.
Who funds Prostate Progress?
Prostate Progress is funded by Prostate Cancer Research, sponsorship from the Life Sciences industry, charity partners, trusts and foundations and members of the public via donations.
As part of our ‘Design and Initiation’ phase we received sponsorship from Bayer and Advanced Accelerator Applications (A Novartis Company), as well as in-kind sponsorship from IQVIA.
As part of our ‘Pilot’ phase we received sponsorship from Novartis as well as a grant from the NHS.
We will always be open about who funds Prostate Progress.
We will also include a public register on our website of all approved research studies so that participants, the wider public, researchers and policymakers can see how Prostate Progress resources are being used and what studies are being carried out.
Who has reviewed and approved Prostate Progress?
Prostate Progress has been reviewed and approved by the Newcastle & North Tyneside 1 Research Ethics Committee.
