The impact your fundraising will have

Patients urgently need more effective treatments. Research is the only way to turn this hope into reality.

Prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed male cancer in the UK, yet current treatments are limited and can be harmful – particularly for the late stages of the disease.

Prostate Cancer Research funds research into effective treatments for prostate cancer with the aim of creating a future where people are free from the impact of the disease. Your fundraising will support innovative scientists with bold ideas, who work collaboratively to achieve results and put the patient voice at the heart of their decisions – making a real difference to the lives of people affected.

Frequently asked questions:

When will my Prostate Cancer Research top arrive?

We aim to order your personalised PCR running top at the beginning of January, there’s usually then a month’s turn around to get them produced and delivered, so you should have it by mid February

Will you have a cheer point on the day?

We will! We’ll share more details of its whereabouts closer to race day, but usually, it’s set up around mile 17 near Mudchute station.

Am I able to change my start time and location?

Unfortunately not – these are decided by London Marathon Events and we don’t have any control over the decision

When do I need to get final donations in by?

We aim to let the team know the final amount around the beginning of June, so please get your donations in to us a month after race day, on Friday the 28th of May

Will you be at the Running Show at the ExCel centre?

We will not have a stall at the Running Show, but we are planning on having a member of our team working there to meet you.

Is there a chance to speak with your team trainer Graeme?

You’ll have the opportunity to meet him and ask your questions at our virtual meet ups, so do keep an eye out. If you’d like to speak to him 1:1 outside of these meet ups, unfortunately this isn’t something we’re able to pay for or facilitate, but we can give you his contact details and he can specify what help he’s able to give
