This iconic race has welcomed millions of runners since 1981, and this year it marks an incredible 45 years of the famous event. Join 60,000 incredible AJ Bell Great North Run participants running from the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne to South Shields to fundraise, have fun, achieve a fitness goal, and join an amazing running community, no matter their experience or ability.
Looking for a charity place in the Great North Run 2026? We ask for a registration fee of £30 (inc VAT) and to pledge to raise £350. You can register HERE. We’d love to have you on the team!
