How we use donation money
For every £1 you give
89p is spent directly on research that change men’s lives. 11p is spent on support costs and fundraising so that we can continue to help more men.
Funding bold research
We back ambitious science, from new drugs and diagnostics, to kinder treatments. Your gift moves promising ideas out of the lab and towards patients sooner.
Changing policy
We're campaigning for screening for the men at highest risk. Independent modelling for us showed it would cost just 0.01% of the NHS budget.
Powered by patients
Prostate Progress brings together NHS data and men's own experiences, so research answers the questions patients actually have.
Earlier diagnosis
We fund better ways to spot prostate cancer sooner, and fight for the men still refused a PSA test.

How we use the money you give us?
OpenClose

89p in every pound goes directly to research that changes men's lives. The remaining 11p covers support and fundraising costs, so we can reach more men. Your gift funds bold science that larger funders overlook, from new drug targets to gentler treatments. It pays for the evidence behind our campaign for national screening, and for the free patient information on the infopool. It also powers Prostate Progress, our platform combining NHS health data with men's own experiences so researchers can see what's working in real life and what isn't.

Understanding Fundraise Up transaction fees
OpenClose

We use Fundraise Up to power our donation form. Payments are securely processed by Stripe, a trusted global payment provider. Together, they ensure your donation is safe and handled efficiently. How it works? At checkout, you may see an optional contribution to cover the transaction fees. You can remove this if you prefer – 100% of your intended donation will still reach us, and we will cover the fees ourselves. FRUP uses smart technology to present this option, helping maximise the impact of every donation. What are the fees? Standard currency donations: 4% Fundraise Up platform fee, plus Stripe processing fee of 1.5% + £0.20 Why cover the fees? Choosing to cover the fees helps us make the most of every donation, allowing more funds to go directly towards research and support services for men and their families. Either way, your generosity makes a real difference. Thank you for your support.
