The Future of Treatment

This session is led by Professor Dan Brewer, Senior Lecturer in Medical Bioinformatics and Genomics at the Norwich Medical School, Dr Dan Woodcock, Senior Data Scientist at the Nuffield Department of Surgical Sciences and Professor David Wedge, Professor of Cancer Genomics and Data Science at the University of Manchester.

They are joined by Dr Antony Rix, CEO of Lucida Medical, a company who is using AI and ML to make prostate cancer screening accurate, accessible, cost-effective, and quick.

Presented by Professor Andrew Hughes, Professor of Experimental Cancer Medicine team at The University of Manchester. He is joined by Dr Nigel Brookes, Director Translational Science and Steven Salomon, Clinical Trials Manager, at biotechnology company, CellCentric, which has a new drug in development called “CCS1477” which is for the treatment of patients with late stage prostate cancer.
