So...what exactly is Race for Science?

Great question! Race for Science is an immersive, hands-on, mind-blowing scavenger hunt. In your team, follow the clues across Cambridge and decipher a series of scientific puzzles. It’s a race against the clock to solve the mystery of the missing scientist and save prostate cancer research.

Ok... but what can I expect on the day?

Closer to the time, you’ll be given the scavenger hunt starting point which will be somewhere in central Cambridge. You’ll then travel around central Cambridge solving mind-bending logic puzzles, and when the missing scientist needs you the most you’ll be summoned to hands-on scientific challenges.

Is this a corporate event?

Race for Science is a corporate fundraising challenge for companies in Cambridgeshire and the STEM sector, BUT we are reserving 100 tickets for members of the community.

How many people can be on a team?

Anywhere from 3-6 people can be on a team, but the game is more fun with more people!

When is Race for Science?

The first ever Race for Science is taking place on the 30th of March 2019.

 

 

What should I bring?

Bring a (charged!) smartphone with a data plan. Wear clothes and shoes that you can move around in for a few hours. Check the weather – late March is not known for being predictable!

100% of your ticket price will go directly towards one of our new research projects into advanced prostate cancer.
