The Multi Peak Climb challenges you to take on 4 peaks in the Snowdon Massif, showing you the great sights of North Snowdonia, before approaching the top of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) itself.

Distance: 21.6km/13.4 miles

Total ascent: 1582m

Peaks: Moel Elio, Foel Gron, Foel Goch, Moel Cyhnghorion, Yr Wydffa (Snowdon).

Walking time: 8 hours (approx)

This was a new route last year and participants loved it. It is so much quieter than the classic Snowdon routes and the views are spectacular from the very beginning to the end. It’s a challenging walk but very achievable in one day. We recommend it to those looking to push themselves on their adventure, explore a quieter route in Snowdonia, see some uniquely stunning 360 views and get out of their comfort zone!

Route information

Setting off from the Royal Victoria, you will head past the Pen Ceuanant /Snowdon Café, over the Snowdon Mountain Railway and on to your first mountain, Moel Eilio.

After a rest at the summit and a chance to enjoy the stunning views, you head off along the south-east ridge and then up and down the prominent peaks of Foel Gron and Foel Goch. Reaching the pass, Bwlch Maesgwm, between Foel Goch and Moel Cynghorion you will prepare for a steep ascent.

After reaching the peak of Moel Cynghorion, you will head down to join the Snowdon Ranger path and begin your ascent of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon).

The journey back to base, once you have reached the Snowdon summit, is via the Llanberis path.
