The Berlin marathon is one of the largest and most popular road races in the world. The majority of marathon world records for men and women have been set on the Berlin course, which is known for its flat profile, even surfaces, cheering spectators, and its frequently mild autumn temperatures.  Over 40,000 people come from all over the world to take on the iconic 26.2 mile route via Reichstag and the Berlin Wall.
