THE MAGICAL CHRISTMAS LIGHTS AT BRAFIELD ON THE GREEN

OUR 2006 Christmas season has been the best ever.
Despite the Gales and cold rain throughout December many people braved the elements to enjoy our festive gardens with there blaze of coloured lights, reindeers, polar bears, Rudolph, and this year the New Ice Cave with the penguins and a Walrus, not forgetting the nativity.
Saturday 10th December was quite a cold evening, but fine, Sunday 11th.December saw us back to high winds and heavy rain, but everyone who came to see Father Christmas and Mrs Elf with all his many animal friends thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
Over the Christmas season we far exceeded all expectations and raised the magnificent total of £4400-00.
Cheques have now been sent to the three chosen charities, Breast Cancer Research, Prostate Cancer Research and The Brafield Alley Gardens Play Area.
