Case Study of a Charity Supporter

25 year old Londoner, Frankie Fitzgerald, runs his own theatre academy for children called Centre Stage where he teaches acting, dance and singing. He is also a professional actor having worked in television and film for the last 10 years and is most well known for his roles as Ashley Cotton (Dot’s Grandson) & Jason Porter of Sky One’s Dream Team.
Frankie lost his Uncle to prostate cancer and remembering the difficult time his family went through has since decided to use his stage school and TV contacts to help raise vital funds for our research.
Perhaps one of the most physically challenging ways he has chosen to do this is by taking part in next year’s Virgin London Marathon, aiming to complete the 26.2 miles in 3.5-4 hours!
Other fundraising plans include a variety of events involving his 100+ academy students such as dance competitions & festivals and with plans to organise a celebrity football match including famous faces such as Anthony Costa (Blue), TV presenter Jeff Brazier and lots of ex-Eastenders and ex-professional football players we don’t think his target of £2000.00 is going to be hard to achieve!
