Our Supporters

We are lucky to have gained support from a few well known faces,

In the recent months we have gained a patron for the charity Bill Beaumont O.B.E. who is delighted to support our research.  Bill played rugby for England between 1975 and 1982 and he was an inspirational captain.

We have also gained support from Jo Brand who offers these words of encouragement to those reluctant to get checked, "Go for it boys! and love the latex!"

Chef Antony Worrall Thompson has been kind enough to write a recipe for the Centre which will be available in the next newsletter and will soon be available to downlaod from the website, "I'm pleased to support the Prostate Cancer Research Centre.  With more than 30 000 men diagnosed every year, it is vital that public awareness of prostate cancer is raised."

"Prostate cancer is the most common male cancer in the UK, which is why I'm pleased to support the Prostate Cancer Research Centre and the research they undertake into new treatments, to improve the quality of life and survival of men with the disease." - Paul O'Grady

"I support the Prostate Cancer Research Centre and the work that they do.  I believe it is imperative for women to become more aware of this male cancer so they can help the men in their lives to spot the sypmtoms and encourage them to be more proactive about treatment" - Gabby Logan

"We must encourage men of all ages to be aware of prostate cancer and how to avoid it.  We must encourage them to talk openly about it and its consequenses" -Richard Wilson

If you know anyone that is in the public eye who may be willing to offer their support please contact us by phone 020 7679 9366 or email info@prostate-cancer-research.org.uk
