FAQ'S

Where and when

The Doitforcharity.com London to Brighton Cycle Ride will take place on Sunday 11th
September 2011

How fit do I need to be?

Hundreds of thousands of people take part in charity cycles every year - many of them
for the first time. Its therefore perfectly achievable for the 'average' person
to take part in this event but in order to maximise your enjoyment you DO need
to train - and that’s means more than just a cycle round your local park!
However, help is at hand in the form of www.doitforcharity.com
fitness pages where you can find a sample training plan.

What kit will I need?

Taking part in a charity bike ride that involves over 50 miles of cycling means that
its not only you that has to be in good shape, the bicycle you ride does too!
As well as your bike its essential you have a helmet and a pair of gloves.

How can I raise the sponsorship money?

We are asking for £100 minimum sponsorship as the places we have are limited.  However you shouldn’t have an problems
raising this amount, its not every day you cycle 50 miles is it?!  One top tip is to ask your employer to match everything
you raise pound for pound.

There several places you can create your own personal fundraising page including www.doitforcharity.com/give  www.justgiving.com  or www.virginmonygiving.com
