Calling all cyclists!!! With record numbers set to don their lycra and put their pedals to the test, we are thrilled to announce that the PCRC are Charity of the Year in the annual Do It For Charity London to Brighton Cycle Ride.
Why not leave the buzz of the city behind and join thousands of fellow cyclists as you face the challenge of a 54 mile journey on two wheels in your bid to raise hundreds for charity. With a 20% increase in participant sign ups expected, this year’s London to Brighton cycle is set to reflect the nation’s growing love for all things cycling and all to raise money for charity so why not do it for a great cause like the Prostate Cancer Research Centre!
On Sunday 6th September thousands of fundraisers will depart from Clapham Common to head south through idyllic British countryside to tackle the 54 mile route to the favourite seaside town of Brighton! Taking the route through Mitcham, Carshalton, Chipstead, Banstead and Haywards Heath. Cyclists will put their legs to the test at Ditchling Beacon before heading on to the Brighton seafront for the finish line.
By stepping up and taking on this challenge, you’ll be joining our ever growing team of fundraisers and it is only through all their hard work and effort that it means we can turn those pounds into research.
It costs just £40 to register for this amazing event and the only sponsorship required is £100 and we have our very own bespoke booking link to make things that little bit easier for you.
Cycling is at an all-time high in terms of its popularity thanks to British Cycling successes over the past few years and it has really inspired people to get involved, get more active and give something back to charity so why not give it a go!
Come join the Prostate Cancer Research Centre and help us fund research for a future without prostate cancer!!
